An attempt at watercolouring in several years and the first ever on watercolour paper. The surface absorbency is impressive and allows for layering, unlike standard paper weights such as inkjet paper which get easily saturated with water. The image depicts the section of the Blue Mountain range which is visible from Kingston, that is not unlike the others but from the vantage point of the Belvedere area. It was a rainy day in December and the focus was placed on capturing the clear change in green and blue values due to the blockage of the sun by clouds, and the time of year.
