Safe to say the roving peaks and valleys of mountain ranges, inspire great intrigue and bewilderment. This artwork is yet another attempt at Sumi-e (ink wash technique) practice, to get as much information as possible using a medium that inspires minimal detail. As such the designer must choose carefully what the emphasis should be placed on. Is it the flora, the shape of the landscape, light, the diversity of rock formations etc. In this image the illustrator is focused on showing the seemingly endless stretch of peaks and valleys emblematic of the Blue Mountains.
